Lots of drama would've been avoided.

I'd say Weitz deserves a huge paycheck from the media partners for giving everyone something to discuss.

FSU would probably still be ACC champs, but with 1 loss and then the Committee's job is a lot easier, putting a 1-loss SEC champ in over 1-loss ACC champ is FAR less controversial than snubbing an undefeated power-5 conference champ.

Too many ifs in that sentence to really worry about it.

What if UGA didn't donk that field goal? What if Bama didn't become the first team ever to score on a 4th and goal from the 36?

how do we know FSU doesn't score if make the FG? Our defense was playing well in the second half and I don't think we'd have gone to the 3-man line, but making the FG wasn't going to for sure make us the winner.
