Do I make him take it tonight or let him take it tomorrow night (I'm already giving a make up for those with conflicts). This excuse seems pretty lame. Did anyone ever try and bail on an exam because they had a cold? Did he really just tell me that he has been 'relaxing'?
Hello Ms. 3time,
This weekend I got a cold. I've been taking some medication and relaxing. However, I still don't feel well enough, and cough a lot. I hope by tomorrow morning I will feel better. I am contacting you to inquire about incase I don't feel well what I can do? Must I attend the exam in such a situation or can I request the make up?

Just be prepared to move him out of the room if he really is coughing a lot. The other students may kill him if he disrupts too much.

Make that weak little boy take his exam outside on a concrete pad, while you spray him with a firehose, while you throw flash/bang charges at him.

the point is finding out if he learned the material, right? So why not just let him take it as soon as possible after the original exam date?
