I'm surprised this didn't get a post here. I wonder if having a father who publicly expresses hatred for your kind causes this kind of darkness?
She did follow-up with a Tik Tok video saying that she has mental issues but is not suicidal. It looked like she was reading a scripted speech in a hostage video.

I admittedly jumped the gun on those links and see that Cruz's stance is more of a states' rights argument as well as him stating that he doesn't support overturning the SCOTUS ruling and also supports repealing archaic Texas laws against gay sex.

The law as written will absolutely bring immediate lawsuits against religious institutions/businesses/religious liberty. That is why the Dems refused to add language to protect those, within the bill. I’m not religious and I can see the “future” litigation. That is how the left takes freedoms away from others; under the guise of freedom for one group. Maybe you’ve heard the term “identity politics”.
I also agree with his point that marriage is dictated by the state. I firmly believe in state’s rights, and that’s why I also agree with overturning RvW. I don’t care about same sex marriage or abortion; but I do care that it’s a state issue. I don’t need a “federal” marriage license (yet).
Anyway; a quote from one of your articles: “he (Cruz) also said Texas should repeal a now-defunct law banning gay sex.” Does that sound like hate?

Lengths to explain his stance regarding the bill and his belief that it opens religious nonprofits to punitive IRS measures they currently don’t face. He was ok with voting for the bill with an amendment that the IRS not be able to pursue those groups (a bipartisan introduced amendment, BTW), but it wasn’t passed.
I also think that there was concern that the bill could take future fringe marriage laws (polygamy for one) that may be passed in one state, and force all other states to recognize them. Less certain on that last part than I am the first part.
