It's very messy, uneven and dumb...

so similar to the original (only without the nostalgia). They totally waste Conor McGregor, who could have been a really fun character/storyline.

Definitely starts slow, but only barely gets better

Seems almost too short. Bunch of redundant storyline trying to recall the og.

And I am for SURE positive there's NO Kelly Lynch stealing eyes either

As a stand alone movie, it would be fine. Comparing it to Road House Actual is where it loses its luster.

Regrettably Hollywood has no creativity and will continue to tarnish classic films. I’m just happy they haven’t tried to remake Cool Hand Luke

Meh - about what I expected. Formulaic remake of a formulaic dumb action movie. No great film making, no great acting, no plot twists and nothing to make you think, just good guys vs bad guys and a lot of fighting. 12 yr old boys and coots will love it. Me? It's "Roadhouse", so I had to watch it and I'm not not sorry I did, and Mrs. ST seemed to enjoy it, but I won't watch it again and I can't recommend it with any real enthusiasm.

If looking for a good streaming show I recommend the new Netflix series

"The Gentlemen".

The wife and I finished watching the second season of "Reacher" on Amazon Friday night. Overall it was entertaining but both of us felt like they stretched six episodes of material into eight episodes. There was just some "same old-same old" lulls in it and think it would have been better if they made it a six/seven episode season instead of eight.

The last movie I saw in the theater was "Dune Part 2". As opposed to what this Amazon remake of "Road House" looks to be - I think the new Denis Villeneuve Dune movies are really good and much better than all previous attempts...

The next movie we'll probably watch in the theater will be "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare". The wife and I both tend to like Guy Ritchie films and this one looks fun...

The story gets messy in later episodes but if you like Guy Ritchie's style, it certainly gives you what you'd want. It certainly is a show I think the majority of this board would enjoy.
