I've never been to Louisiana and don't really understand the whole Cajun thing.

which was a name given to the Canadian maritime region. Cajuns came to Louisiana (another French colony) after Canada fell to the British in the 18th Century. Many left or were deported during and after the French and Indian War. However, much like those of us descended from Scots-Irish settlers, these historic connotations no longer remain. Though Cajuns may say different, the modern "redneck" and "Cajun" are basically the same thing - white, trashy, dumb, and proud to be all three.

Could be worse, come to Cenral Florida and you have to deal with "Crackers", which I have discovered are meaner, dumber, and more racist than your typical Redneck.
