When the dust settles.....

I think that some of the earlier victories could potentially look better. If Duke happened to win out against GT and Miami and made the ACCCG, that would look a little better. But I doubt that will happen. If GT randomly went on a tear down the stretch, that win would look better, but that is doubtful. Maybe Wake gets bowl eligible and that win looks decent.
N.C. State will likely be a better win than Ball State....assuming they beat Wake this week. Obviously SCAR has the potential to be our best win.
Since the National Championship is out of reach, it doesn't matter much at this point. If we win out, we are in just as good position for an at-large BCS as we would be if our schedule was a little tougher and we had the same record. Maybe we would be more of a lock, but with the main competition for an at-large slot being Oklahoma, there would still be a debate regardless.

At this point in the season, you are correct. However,

to this point probably. Maybe someone we beat earlier will win a couple unexpected ones and make us rethink that like Auburn or Duke. But right now Ball is pretty good

Hey, I voted Balls Tate #25 in my TigerNet poll.

They promptly knocked off #25 Toledo. Validated my vote and I think they earn some consideration.

Can we help that other teams suck?

I agree that Ball State (in hindsight)may be one of our best wins of the year..however,this argument about our strength of schedule needs to cease..especially from us. Before the season started several teams on our schedule were expected to have much better seasons (Va Tech, Auburn, and even Maryland) than they ended up having. That's not our fault. If we're playing weaker teams and only beating them by 3 pts or a touchdown, then we have issues. BUT we are playing weaker teams and beating them solidly...by several touchdowns. If we really wanted to, we could have put up 80 points on Duke. We're putting our 2nd and 3rd string in for the entire 4th quarter at times. As Dabo has said repeatedly..just win. It'll take care of itself. If we finish by winning out, including the BCS at-large bowl OR the ChicFilA bowl, our SOS won't mean a thing. AP Writers and Coaches think more highly of our tigers than we do. We're a top 10 team. Period. GO TIGERS!

All wins are good wins. We have not beaten a good team. The only good team we played was FSU.
