What if...

Much has been made of the fact the TDP interviewed Gary Patterson and Brent Venables for the HC job while Dabo was interim, but there was a certain other candidate who also got an interview. What if Lane Kiffin was actually hired and Dabo was sent away with the thanks of a grateful AD for a job well done? Just imagine the injustice of a Kiffin in charge of our beloved football team, much less that bratty, entitled spawn of Monte actually being given the chance to drive our once proud program into the ground and finish what his daddy started. We might never know how close we were to utter collapse. Instead of a national championship, we could be picking up the pieces in the wake of a petulant fool and his latest vanity project. Be thankful, tiger fans. Terry Don made the right call.

I remember everyone screaming not to hire Dabo but somebody with a name. Even after a couple of seasons people weren't happy. There were a lot of people that wanted Lane Kiffen. I remember the podcast guy's arguments. So happy we have Dabo!

Kiffen seems so disingenuous to me . If you can't show some stability to your job , you'll come across as that .

I was pulling for Dabo but if he did not get it done my vote was for Kyle Whittingham of Utah. Coach V was where I messed up, as Kyle's success had a lot to do with the OC that got hired away. Still, Utah is no pushover, just have not been quite as good without that OC.
