What I saw and did not see.

I was at the game. I saw a balanced offense. 200 yds rushing. More lateral passing. The D played ok. I saw the DL push Duke's OL into the backfield. I saw the 2nd string DL play better than the veterans.i saw some good things.

I also poor special teams. I saw handoffs to Mafah that took too long (more like a mesh play at the line of scrimmage) (give that kid the ball in space or deeper in the backfield to get a head of steam). I saw slow receivers. I saw Turner of the field a lot.


What I didn't see was play makers.

I didn't see "great" anywhere on the field.

I didn't see a vertical passing game.

I didn't see the D step up and dominate.

I didn't see a DC motivating and coaching his D the whole game.

I didn't see creative play calling.

I saw a bunch of crap last night.

With a slightly worse defense and special teams (much worse).
