SOS likely arrogantly voted for them. I can't imagine any other coach would think they have even a slight chance of making the playoff, much less winning it all.

them No 1. But then said he did vote them in his top 10. Whatever - no way they finish in top 5 again. Most likely not even in top 15 I think. So, the issue is: we continue to outrecruit them and then lose to them. Are they just a "luck box" (to coin a poker phrase), or are we being outcoached?

The problem is: USUC has the really good opponents at HOME this year. They could run the table except they have to go to Awbarn I think. TAM and UGA at home. Maybe Mizzou too. Anyway - their schedule is almost a shoe-in for them to win the SEC LEAST. Of course, Bama will crush them if they make the SECCG.
So yes - I can see why they might make Top 10. I think we beat them in DV though, but they'll be Top 10 until we do that, and they will be favored coming into that game.

you're talking about playing at Auburn and Clemson being the two toughest road games? Is UGA the toughest home game you all play? In my opinion, that's the way I see it. If we disagree, excuse me.. However, we play you at home, at UGA and at defending NC's. How is our schedule look any easier, if not harder?

Schedules are pretty comparable at the top. I agree with you - Georgia, FSU and SC vs Auburn, Georgia and Clemson are a wash. Florida and Missouri vs. Louisville and North Carolina also seem to wash. After that I think our schedule is a little tougher but top 5 or 6 games for both teams are pretty even.

schedules, but the top is obvious - we play 2 preseason top 10 teams (fl st and coots) - both teams finished last season top 4. Coots play 1 preseason top 10 in Auburn. No brainer there. Go Tigers

I'd believe the Sumlin theory. Now even SEC coaches are trying to fix the rankings to make there wins or losses seem better.
