Yea, I went over to their fan board and around 7 of them had stepped away from their calculators and world of warcraft games to post that they thought the ACC was going to stay intact. Honestly, I just don't think they care half of the time.

talked to a coworker who is a UNC grad. He says "ouch. guess its time to raid the big east and the sec and become the basketball superconference"
Asked him if he really thought anyone would leave the sec due to money, he replies "no. hopefully they will invite us"

In this conversation, the radio guys don't ever mention Clemson.
The only schools that these Swofford lovers talk about is FSU and Miami as possible leavers and Notre Dame as a possible target for the ACC.
If we are mentioned at all is in a blaming way as in "if FSU, VT, and Clemson would just do better on the national stage, Swofford would be able to broker a better TV deal, I mean, what more does the guy have to do?"
I swear, I don't know why I keep listening to these jokers. Sometimes it's as if the only team with an ACC championship under it's belt is Wake Forest.
I hope I don't run off the road because I'm continually rolling my eyes on the drive home from work.

a national punching bag ... that one loss was extremely poor timing for the latest round of expansion.
I hate it. But it's true. We have to own it. There is only one way to recover and that's win.
