I think what really turned our program around was getting Mitch Hyatt, a five star OL We are getting great commits from all the skill positions, but what about offensive linemen? Got to have the horses up front!

I appreciate what youre saying, but its a package. That why its so hard to build a program. You have to have so many pieces. Throughout the last 7-8 years weve gotten higher and higher caliber players. My point is Mitch wouldve been a long shot without DW... DW wouldve been a long shot without Chad's offense... on and on and on. Its a process and a total package you have to put together to build the kind of team we are seeing right now.

Well said. The totality of what Dabo and crew has done in a fairly short time is incredible. They have taken advantage of every single opportunity to pitch and cast a wonderful vision, getting some incredible young men to buy in and be all in.

He watched us have all the shiny toys on the outside and ....well...not much in the middle. On either side of the ball. The key to the game is controlling the line of scrimmage and you are right. But it started 4-5 years ago.

We have one of the best OLs in the country, young players already on the cupboard, and more on the way. I see no issue with what the staff has put together and is building.

That had been our weakness. The OL now is our strength due to increased emphasis. It shows!
