Well we have been given 2 big breaks this season

The missed 33 yard FG and after a bad loss only dropping to #4.
If the Wake up call has not been delivered this team will never get it.
We have 3 games left vs teams a National Championship team should destroy.
The rest of this season comes down to how bad they want it.
Its time to stop the sloppy play and take advantage of the gifts this team has received.

We almost blocked

the first FG the NCS kicker missed, we blocked the second FG attempt and our D gave him no place to kick the 3rd.No luck to it. Had the D just stood back and watched,he makes at least 2 of them ,most likely all 3.
Our luck was dropping to 4th because Washington lost. At worst,Clemson would have been ranked at 5th or 6th as the last 1 loss team above UofL,moving back up as we won our conference.
There's been no luck, teams like Clemson,FSU and UofL have built this conference into a conference that no longer has to be UNDEFEATED to get it's Conference Champion in.A one loss ACC champion is in.

Not one time in the OP was the word luck posted.
But yeah the Tigers are very lucky to only have 1 loss and be in the Top 4.
We will not get many more big breaks this season it's time to earn our spot.
There is no excuses left it's time to take what we want.

This team is too talented to be playing this bad.
We have a great chance to right the ship this last stretch of games.
But it's all on them , we will see how much they want it or not.
They have been giving a golden opportunity to be great or just be another good team.

Just so you know the kicker doesn't look up to see where he can kick the ball. He lines up where he wants it to go and then his eyes stay on the ball until it is kicked. If he is seeing the kick block attempt then he has already missed.

if he's already had one almost blocked another one blocked and a flying Tiger is coming in from his left on his last FG try, he flinched.

I disagree. These aren't breaks or luck. This is football. The NCS player missed the kick. That means NCS lost and we won. If the other teams lost we are in the running against for the playoffs lost that isn't a break. That is football. They didn't win. I remember as the season unfolded leading up to our National Championship we won and others lost. That is called playing the game and losing and winning.
Yes, we need to play better, but don't minimize our efforts and talent and wins. Don't imply we got breaks and that we didn't earn those wins.

bparent - we did play and win (except for Pitt) - however we did get a break. I am referring specifically to the NCS game. On that last field goal - were you praying / hoping they miss? Were you relieved when they did? Tigers had no control of what happened. Their kicker messed up.
You can argue that we nearly blocked it. I agree. Can you guarantee that you can block every kick. If so - then that was not a break - we controlled it. But let's be honest. What NCS state did (or did not do) caused us to win. We were not in control.
If we had beaten NCS 56-0. Then yes - we did it. We were in control the entire time.
There is a difference being 3 TD ahead or praying that your opponent misses a field goal. Love the Tigers and hope that we don't just win - but dominate from here on out.

Football club has played 10 games and won 9 of them. In doing so they have justified a #4 ranking from ther cfpc on 11/15/16.
Nothing was given....it was earned.
