I’m trying really hard to appreciate it, but I have to admit, I’m super disappointed right now. We played hard but just never seemed to get into a good rhythm after Alabama came back in the first half and took the lead. Even though we scored over 80 it didn’t feel like it.
It took us too long to start hitting some threes. And we absolutely picked the wrong game to inexplicably go cold on our free throws. I don’t know what that was about. If we had shot our season average I think we would’ve won this game.
Hats off to Alabama though. They hit some incredible shots. Hard to fault our defense on most of those.
I believe we will be back in the Elite Eight again, and it won’t be 44 years this time.
So proud of this team! I’ll never forget this season. Go Tigers!

I maybe disappoint with our loss, but I'm quite pleased with the success this team has had for the season. Plus, Tiger nation didn't really realize how exhausting a run like we had in the tournament could be this exhausting to be honest, but we all did enjoy the exhaustion that come with making a run like we had in this tournament, and hopefully for Tiger fans everywhere we don't have to wait this long to get this exhausted again, Go Tigers!!!

Agree with both. No denying we're trending up. Both with hs recruiting and transfers. Just too many Ifs. Might bring in all world talent and they get hurt or just don't produce.
I don't really think Chase coming back helps or hurts. Either way it's a new team. I'd say hand the reigns off to the next group. If we keep recruiting at the level, then we'll soon have freshman and sophomore ready to make runs.

Chase HAS to be an NIL priority. More money in college than pro for him right now.
Bonus: Beadle should have been inserted tonight to stifle Sears once he got going. That said, he is an offensive liability and ok if he leaves.
Double bonus: Dillion needs to spend entire offseason practicing shooting. FTs, 3s, midrange.

I think the Beadle transfer was inevitable considering the log jam of guard next year.
As it stands now, we're light in the frontcourt but see more recruiting of guards and wings in the transfer portal than big men.
But even with that, I'm excited about what's coming back and look forward to a possible front court of Godfrey and Chef. Two undersized, overachieving dogs than can battle.

I hope this gives the program the spark it needs to the a big step forward. With the right personnel, they proved that this program can compete at the highest levels—something many people, including some of us Clemson fans, were skeptical about. I now trust Brownell can get it done. Just need this to help recruit and they’ll be back soon. Can’t wait till next season.

The only thing I would harp on is our Audio Visual school needs to find out where to put the dadgum microphones in Littlejohn to pick up real crowd noise at home games on TV.

this was a stellar season, and I couldn't be prouder of our team's and staff's efforts.
We were one of eight remaining from a boatload of the best from across the nation...an accomplishment that a hellll of a lot of programs would give their left arms to have.
If there was ever a time for our BOT and administration to pull out all the stops to support and push our basketball program forward, that time is right now! AND it ought to start with a masterfully-crafted PR campaign across the nation selling Clemson and its roundball. I mean, cough up the megabucks to flood the market with the Clemson story!

JK, I will do a rare thing and agree with you! Post season minus the ACC tourney was something special. The best post season that I can actually remember. Hate it for the players and a final four would have been mind blowing, but I am more than happy with the Elite 8. Heck a sweet 16 was awesome. Brownell proved me wrong in that he can actually coach a post season game. It’s great to win 20+ in the regular season but it means a lot more when you can pay it off in the NCAA’s.
There is some renewed enthusiasm in the program that has been lacking for years and I hope this propels the program to becoming a consistent participant in the NCAA’s in the coming years.

100%, Judge! +1 These guys played their hearts out, and even though we looked like we couldn’t get a break with some thing, free throws, 3’s for a lot of the night, there was zero quit in this team, all tournament.
