may get frustrated and look elsewhere or just decide to give up coaching? Just last week it looked like we had the makings of a good team next year if we could just add a quality transfer or two.

Now, with it being a major rebuilding year, I wouldn't blame CBB if he hung up his sneakers and whistle and rode off into the sunset. It's a shame college sports has come to this. Thankfully football, gymnastics, soccer, softball, and baseball are on firm foundations.

The odds are the next coach would be worse based on history and if they were better would bolt at the first opportunity likes Barnes and OP. Calarpi bolted in part because wanted a replacement for the basketball facility built in 2007. Our basketball facility is expected to be completed in 2040

Nothing.

We’ve had several coaches better than Brownell and we could easily do it again.

History has zero to do with it. Fail.

2040?!! Where did you see that? I knew there were plans for a new facility, but I thought it was going to be happening over the next year or two. 2040 is a long way away, it seems crazy to even project that far.

Why? He’s older than me and I retired. He has a lot more money than me too. Good time for Brownell to retire and start kicking it in the Caribbean.
