We never truly got to see

Tyler brown and Antonio Williams on the fieild at the same time. I think they can be electric together. I just pray Moore, wesco, Randall, or turner step up big time to filled that 3 reciever spot. From dabo’s press conference today it sounds like ship will be back and I pray mafah does as well. I don’t know if we’ll be an elite offense next year but with Matt Luke getting the oline fixed up, ship and mafah back, and another offseason for Riley to coach up Cade we should be decent. What do y’all think??

Only time will tell! The changes look and sound promising! Just hope CK2 can get in sink with the new WR… if so then expect good things. As Clemson fans we got spoiled with TLaw and Watson because they had so good touch on a lot of there passes! I like Cade but definitely he is no DW4 or TL16 in the aspect of being able to put a ball to where only his WR could catch it!

That’s true. I always head Riley was some QB whisper and I pray this is true. I’m not some guy that studies clemson’s film but I heard there was quite a bit of wide open guys this year but Cade never saw them. My thought is with veterans at RB and a decent oline that should take a lot of pressure off of Cade and allow him to relax and play freely. I still don’t think we’ll be elite because I think you need elite players all around to be elite. Our passing game needs a ton of improvement BUT Dabo always fixes issues from year to year and our passing game needs fixing. Examples kickoff coverage from 2015 to 2016. Also that 1 year we got a million PI calls on our db’s because they wouldn’t turn their heads. The next year it was completely different. There was also the year he made the db’s wear boxing gloves during practice. Dabo is the best coach and no one can change my mind. Anyways GO TIGERS!!!!

Next season will be Cade's third year in the program and second with Riley. He probably won't reach his ceiling next season but It's reasonable to think he'll be significantly better than we've seen so far.

I agree that it's all about how Cade performs, if the game don't slow down for him, he will never be more than a 2nd or 3d string QB playing as a starter.

Several things on offense need to get repaired:

* O-line needs to move people on run plays and protect QB on pass plays...I think overdependence on RPO makes the line scared to pancake the man in front of them and move to the next level because the never know what's going to happen behind them. If the line knows what they need to do and do that thing well, good thing happen. Half run/half pass blocking doesn't seem to work if QB is not making the right decisions instantly. DJU could not make those decisions. CK is better, but still slow. I've always liked the notion of "We could tell you the play we're going to run and you STILL couldn't stop it."

* If O-line can give QB another half-second or so AND Klubnik can learn to go through his progressions instead of locking onto option #1, chunk yards will happen

* WRs need to either block and block well or run a route for separation, whichever the play calls for

We've had "good" WR play, and "good" QB play, and "good" o-line play, but just barely on all three counts. And when any one of those misses a beat--which they do a lot because they've just barely been on the right side of middling--we get 3-and-out.
