beaux collins, decari collins, joe ngata, ej williams, frank ladson, etc.... committed to us at some point as well.
can't make long term coaching decisions to keep a couple unproven (albeit talented on paper) high school seniors.

Those were all Jeff Scott. He whiffed over and over again on his way out the door. There's a reason none of the ones who left have found success elsewhere and it's not because coaching failed them.

so I'll stick with Grisham was gifted a JOB and TALENT yet NEVER developed or improved any of them to elite.......or even "good" for that matter.

Grisham immediately turned in Rodgers and Powell's career years after Scott got little to nothing out of them. He was left with a bare cupboard because Scott's recruiting practices on the way out the door left him nothing to work with.
I don't love Grisham as a coach, but Jeff Scott is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Jeff Scott was absolutely responsible for Grisham's WR room. Both Collins, Williams, Ngata, Ladson...those were all Scott. The two best WRs on the roster (Brown and Williams) were Grisham. Scott completely ignored Williams early in the process.

Scott may have recruited them, but you forget that he didn't coach them.
Nobody was better at developing WR talent than Jeff Scott. His track record speaks for itself. All those guys wouldn't have been busts if he had coached them.
Jeff Scott could get hired at any program in country as a WR coach. As we speak, Tyler Grisham would have a hard time landing a job.

Beaux and Decari Collin’s were both Grisham. EJ was recruited by Scott and coached by Grisham. Scott’s first year at USF was 2020.

Jan 2020 prior to Grisham being given a FT job - he was interim. Jeff Scott was the one who got him to follow DJ to Clemson. Jeff was our “California recruiter”. Part of Grishams job as interim was to not mess up what Scott was handing over. If one or both had decomitted when he took over as interim then Grisham may have never gotten the job FT- it literally was probably a condition to keep those guys committed. I personally like what we’ve done with the last 2 classes and what we have coming in. We appear to be hitting on some guys after some clear misses on those coming in at the end of the Scott era for whatever reason(folks figured us out, lack of QB, misevaluation, covid,injury prone guys etc)

Dacari Collins committed 8 months before Grisham was named the WR coach.
Beaux committed a month before Grisham was named the WR coach.
Tell me more about how two guys who committed before Grisham was ever the WR coach are his recruits please?

that we don't have, was almost completely Jeff Scott. Beaux Collins would have been a big contributor had he returned for next year. Development wasn't the problem for the others. That's such a ridiculous narrative. Some guys just don't have what it takes.

Also Dabo obviously doesn’t have a clue about recruiting. If we ever going to make the playoffs, we need a more knowledgeable Head Coach when it comes to WRs and recruiting!

I feel like if he was gonna make that change , today would have been it along with Austin and Hall , more likely those are the only two but I’d love to see us get a good receiver coach
