You are right.. I read 3.5 to 6 which would make Clemson

the underdog. But, the OP stated Clemson is the favorite which means the line moved from -3.5 to -6.

So more people are betting Clemson. Sorry, I totally just looked at the positive numbers.

big bettors started dumping all the money on Clemson. So they tried to adjust a bit by raising the line. Everyone is still betting on Clemson, not much vegas can do at this point. They would have left the line alone if they didn't think Clemson would cover.
