Sitting in the stands in Tampa, I watched Jalen Hurts run the ball in for a touchdown and I then looked at the clock. I told the dejected tigers sitting around me that they left too much time on the clock. We have the best two minute offense in the country. We're about it win this. The final drive was a bow taken by the cast of characters, who brought our magic season to a climatic end. Good times.

Hunter was a pretty good “two minute” player too! As was the last very good tight end we had who made a great play in that last drive.

I was sitting on the 40 yard line and when Hurts scored, I turned to my son and said: "2 minutes is a lot of time to give DW4." How sweet was that??

I said the same thing to my buddy. I was certain that the coaches were badly mismanaging clock. And, when I watch the replay of the drive, I still find myself calling for timeouts. Somehow, it worked out perfectly. That drive looks more amazing and unlikely every time I watch it. It should be known in history as college football's version of "The Drive".
