With 6 games this week, we should see all four pitchers in the circle this week, but here's how I see the rotation:

Tuesday UGA Cagle
Thursday USF Cagle
Friday UIC Thompson
Saturday Michigan St. Spencer
Saturday Tennessee Cagle
Sunday Michigan St. Thompson

This gives everyone a day between starts, and it has Cagle against the toughest teams.

Last year in the Clearwater Invitational, Cagle pitched four days in a row with three starts. She logged 22 of the 36 innings in the circle that tournament, so we know Rittman doesn't mind riding Cagle's arm to victory in a stacked tournament field.

Alternatively, I could see Thompson against USF and McCubbin against UIC just to get her a start this weekend.

starts Tuesday night w/ Millie on the mound Thursday @ USF. Regan will start against UIC Friday. Two games on Saturday vs Mich. St. (Thompson) and Tennessee (Cagle). Two games Sunday vs. Mich. St. (Cagle/Thompson depending on previous work) and UIC (Spencer).

The thing about Millie getting the ball with only one day in-between starts is it only happened once all last year, and that was in the regional. I don't see Rittman upping her workload this early in the season.

BUT according to TNet and Clemsontigers.com we don't play UIC Sunday.

UIC is winless so maybe Spencer/McCubbin. MSU is 5-4 and USF is 2-7. USF did play (but lost) against some pretty good competition in St. Pete. It's good to have pitching options.
