Sure. As soon as we eliminate pick sixes and scoop scores and find a way to make chip shot field goals, we will be okay.

I do not understand the love for WR screens. Probably cost us the game today. We have been running this play forever and it has not been successful for 3 seasons now. Who keeps calling this negative yards play ?

I assume the idea is to spread out the defense to make room for the run game. We don’t have the edge playmakers or blocking WRs to make it work for positive yardage.

Worst call of the game. Our wr are soft. Beux should never have gotten that ball. He gets pushed around easily with or without the ball. Give it to Stellato or even Brown.

Well, let me just say this, I watched Syracuse play last weekend. They have a pretty good defense and their QB controls everything like he should. However, he runs the ball a lot and is very mobile. If we don't put a spy on him, they will score points.

There are no givens left on the schedule! Miami, Notre Dame, UNC all are strong and Syracuse is always an upset waiting to happen when everything seems to be clicking. Add to that the Coots are lent as bad as we thought and seem to be able to find a way to win and we get them at their home.

They gotta knock the dust off the fundamentals or this could end up being the biggest disaster of a season we’ve seen in years.

This is not something new for Clemson Football. Howard, Ingram, Parker, Hatfield, West, Bowden.......every one of them were big on "We outplayed them but we lost" during their post game pressers and interviews. All lost a lot and all said the same thing. Dabo has always avoided that but is inching mighty close to the line. Hopefully he will not cross it into the losing world of Cootspeak and Moral victories. He never has before so hopefully he will not now! We lost. Accept it, learn, improve and move on.
