One of my favorite courses in the world. Hope the guys can play well. Not a real strong field but some pretty good teams there.

I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I've played it 3 times and I feel like it's overrated. A "meh" layout with inverted saucer, lightening fast, punishing greens. I wouldn't pay the price to play it again. Several of the other Pinehurst courses are better IMO. Like #4.
I feel like I just blasphemed the Pope.

On a course that looks to be playing tough for everyone.
Hope they can finish, which failed to do last tourney. But a 2nd tournament win would be huge for these guys if they can keep level of play up.

in the afternoon. The weekend rains had it soft, but the “Sandhills” will shed water like a duck’s back . . . we are seeing the effects of “turtle back” greens drying out!!! Thanks Pete Dye!!!
Glad Will is getting the experience! It will pay dividends later in his TIGER Career!!!

We need to find some feathers like east tenn is doing... looking at you Swanson and Kian. You're the senior leadership that aren't transfers. I know we've talked about it ad nauseum but Coach is just missing that one guy that can shoot a low round.

Skeeter ....... I don't think we can blame Pete on these greens. Ben Crenshaaw and Bill Coore were the last to mess with it and they were just keeping the tradition of the famous turtlebacks. I am not sure that during their last renovation if they even touched the greens. The greens were probably never originally this turtlebacked, but years and years of heavy topdressing the old common Bermuda greens probably turned them into turtlebacks and no one has ever thought to change them back ..... or had instructions to.

Look at will starting off good again. The team hasn't started bad but they haven't started good either. Hopefully that changes soon.

GOAT Coach LP has got to be throwing stuff following our Tiger golfers. He absolutely despised par 3 bogeys and others... and we're near the bottom in par 3 scoring. It cost us big-time 1st and 2nd round. So far, more of the same 3rd round. Smh

squandered too many chances to win it all . . .
Kudos to Andrew for showing up with the Round we have come to expect out of him (-3) . . . Ended up T-6th Place overall.
Alberto (T-13th Place) and Jonathan (T-18th Place) also had respectable tournaments.
Glad to see Will get an opportunity to gain experience . . . He came through with an Even Par Round today and ended up T-38th Place overall.
