Our schedule was very front loaded and we got through the tough part with a .500 record. It could have easily been better if some breaks went our way, but we are still sitting at a 5 or 6 seed in most ncaa tourney projections.

The good news is that the easier part of our schedule is coming up. Luckily we have typically finished the acc schedule strongly over the last 6 years. Over the last 6 years, we have had a better than .500 record in the last 7 acc games in all seasons except for one. The one season we didnt was our sweet 16 run. Im expecting better, but if we go 4-3 over the last 7 games, then we are going to the tourney. Great work by our coaching staff and student athletes. If history holds true, we should finish the acc schedule strongly once again.

If we can peak at the right time and continue how we are playing, a deep NCAA run is likely. Our last sweet 16 run had a similar course. Big difference with this team, it’s not just a hot game changer like Devoe, I like what Girard can bring to open games up but PJ can 100% dominate any game in the post at any time if we feed him. Could be a special year.
