Watching SC State Game

Sep 6, 2013, 9:00 AM

I have disconnected cable and satellite years ago so I do not get Fox Sports South on my TV. I was hoping to see the SC State game on ESPN3 but I see now that it will be blacked out in the Georgia area.

I have a good "streaming" link to view live ESPN broadcasts from my computer.

But I do not think that will do me any good for this weeks game.

Does anybody know of a good "streaming" computer link for the Clemson Vs. SC State game on Saturday?

I believe the game is a sell out, maybe ESPN3 will be unblocking it by game-time.

Most Blackouts nowadays

Sep 6, 2013, 10:49 AM

are because a regional/local network has purchased rights to broadcast an event in a certain area. National outlets like ESPN can broadcast the game everywhere else.

Annoying yes but it makes sense. I forget this all the time when flipping channels I get upset that ESPN2 is blacked out for something, then I see that the game's on a local channel through Raycom.

I don't know how to do this anymore but, in the first days of ESPN360 I remember adding a remote proxy to my browser to spoof my location. I wonder if doing a google search on the matter will turn up anything helpful for getting around an ESPN3 blackout.
