Does anyone have any worthy info on his future? Maybe next year huh? I'd hate to see Ga., Bama or usuc find a position for him.

I think he definitely would lose money. . Imo, he's not getting a head coach offer unless it's in a lower division. I think a position coach is in his future with ties to recruiting. Hopefully with us and a future coordinator job.

His buyout was only about 125k and they paid it right away. He’s not getting more checks from USF.
When Scott was hired, the Tampa Bay Times reported on Dec. 10, 2019 as follows:
If Scott’s terminated without cause by USF, the school owes him only 20 weeks of his $500,000 base salary (pretty standard contract language) though its likely Scott has a private buyout arrangement with the USF Foundation similar to predecessor Strong’s (reported as $3.1M).
As a direct-support organization, USF Foundation records are confidential and exempt from disclosure under Florida law.

That is his buyout from the university
He had a separate arrangement with the booster club.
He was owed close to $10.5M, but they negotiated a settlement that landed in the high 7 figures.

I heard him say that SC is home. His parents and his wife's parents live in the Clemson area...he is not going anywhere soon.

Wasn’t it David Hood that posted that it’s fairly well known he’s doing some real estate development in the area? Apparently he’s enjoying that and the extra time with family. I also thought he was rumored to be getting involved with the 110 Society collective, but can’t recall where I read that.
