Wake's facility seems super nice. Much nicer than I was expecting. For those familiar with the Clemson baseball facility, how would you say they compare?

Not a fan of artificial/sports turf . . .

much less artificial “dirt” . . . Yes, It looks clean and is low maintenance . . . But give me grass on my infield and outfield and dirt on my base paths . . .
Get David Hood to ask the players about their locker rooms and what they thought of the field. That would be a better response from someone that really matters.

Clemson’s baseball facility is considerably behind others. The entire home plate grandstands need to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch. Incorporate the new players building into a new design if possible, however, if not tear it down too. Look at Ole Miss and Miss State as examples of what we need if we plan on competing for the CWS again.

Players do not come to Clemson to play baseball based off whether the fans look good in their seats. They have a awesome players area, cage area etc. Would it be nice as a fan to have something similar to Mississippi State, Florida, UNC, UVA, sure it would. However , Clemson hasn’t shown they are willing to put the people in place to be a Top 10 baseball program. We’re about to go on the worst back to back seasons in modern history.
There is a complete rebuild that will have to be undertaken by the eventual new coach , maybe in another 5 or 6 years when the program gets turned around and ticket demand is back up, Clemson will do something with the seating then

So facilities only matter in football recruiting?

I will say the main host (the pitcher) sure seems like a cocky little demon (deacon).

Wake is a very well respected, wealthy school so I have no doubt they have some good facilities. Wake is a small school so building a huge, modern football stadium will probably not be on their radar.

In all other sports, it’s only about having an amazing coach.

For those "In the Know", how does Weak Florist's facility

stack up against ours? I will say that to me, Wake's looks pretty durn good. Not crazy about the turf field, but all the amenities look top shelf.

I don`t know when they moved but 20 years ago their field

was on campus and had no lights! The neighborhood behind the field wouldn`t allow them! Also no restrooms inside the park, you had to exit stadium with a handstamp and if you went between innings the umps broke in line so as to not make the teams wait to resume play. At that time, Wake was the only ACC team to ever win a CWS.
