Wait, why is Louisville not #5?

It just doesn't make sense to me that a one loss Ohio St team (to unranked Penn St) would be ranked ahead of a Louisville team whose only loss is to the #2 team in the country

I agree. If they played, in my opinion Louisville would win. Louisville may yet get into the playoffs. Look at it another way which four teams would you rather not have to play. Louisville would have to be in thet top four.
