when Shipley ran out of bounds at the 4 yd line . . . I loved how he apologized to Dabo as he came back in bounds by tapping on his chest, signifying “that was on me Coach, I should have gone down in bounds”.

Wasn’t really a mistake since getting the first down was the important thing and we going to be able to run out the clock either way.

I really think that if Muschamp was still SC’s coach Dabo would have tried to punch it into the end zone there. He likes the Beamers and has a lot of respect for Frank.

The entirety of coot nation is about now thinking back to that scenario and getting themselves pretty twisted.
There is little doubt we were able to punch it in. That we chose to not will never be regarded by them as a courtesy to their coach, but a greater insult than if we had gone for 7.
