LSU...already eliminated with their loss.
Stanford...already eliminated with their loss.
Baylor or Oklahoma...whomever loses...will be eliminated as well.
Add #10 Utah to the list....they are trailing early at Arizona.
Add #5 Iowa is in trouble.

A win on the road at Syracuse smells a lot better considering what is going on in Baton Rouge, Palo Alto, and Waco.

What the win means for Clemson: It wasn't the Tigers' most impressive win, but it'll do. Clemson has proven more than enough this season to merit the top spot in the College Football Playoff ranking. As long as the Tigers keep winning, it'll be hard to knock them from the No. 1 spot. (this was on wrap up on ESPN home page after game...sure it is still there. Other writers praised DW4's performance and did not say anything negative about Tigers! CLEMSON REMAINS #1!
