UNC

Nov 14, 2022, 8:44 AM

I grew up in NC so I get the draw of Chapel Hill and the whole college vibe there. I’ve had many a fun night in CH and Carrboro. That being said, I don’t understand how Mack Brown recruits there so well. Actuarially the chances that he doesn’t make it a as coach there the next four years for whatever reason seems very high. Most players, I would think, would prefer their coach be there the whole time. Maybe after we blast them in the ACCCG things will more normalize.

For what it's worth, he's Saban's age. Wonder which will retire first?
Probably won't matter to the players anyway...pretty easy for them to leave in this new world.

Don't know about present time, but years ago they had a big oil man and the family that owned Grandfather Mountain that seemed to be very good at "recruiting".

That would make more sense. Grandfather Mountain is very nice…

to play for him. He's always been a good recruiter - with the talent he had in Texas, he should have won many Nattys.

I have often had the same thoughts. He has won 60% of his games at UNC and makes 5 million a year. Last year, he had a losing season and lost in the mayonnaise bowl. To me, he looks every day of his 71 years of age.

With Howell still can't believe they lost to the coots the way they did. I would have retired Mac right on the spot after that.

I hope we can just figure out a way to get a couple of stops against Carolina. We have not played a better QB and WR since LSU in the 19th Playoff game and by the time Maye leaves he may be better than Burrow.

If the refs allow unchecked holding, it will be a tough game against unc. I'm afraid they will.

Come on, really?

So we are victims of being held on every play? Is this part of the grand anti-Clemson conspiracy?

Do you think we get away with holding on a regular basis when we have the ball?
