run the clock down to under 20 seconds.
The run they called was the RB falling forward for 2 yards…wasn’t going to get the first down…it just opens up to possibilities like fumbling or the unfortunate injury.
Instead Texas gets 50 seconds.

Agreed. I can’t figure out what they were thinking. They also ran a bunch of passes after setting up for the FG. They deserved to lose the way they managed the clock. Bonehead coaching.

No. They were out of timeouts. You victory formation it and have Penix try to run a little time before kneeling. Then you with 20 seconds left. Game should have been over 20 minutes ago. Coach needs to be slapped.
