ULs fans on officiating

Oct 6, 2016, 9:12 AM

I am so tired of it. What a lame excuse. Everywhere i read comments on the game i see this excuse. Those are some salty fans up there. Take the L like a man and move on. If they would have won i know some of our guys may have blamed officiating but not our whole fan base. I think the officiating was fair as it could be. The only reason they had more penalties were because of the false starts which was obvious. I use to think they had class but i am starting to lose respect for them.

they should be used to the Big L. They wear it on all their hats. Irrelevant and whiners. Everyone has moved on and the media is trying to ignore their loss.

Forget about the keyboard gurus. They are not the average fan.

Any Louisville fan, or any fan for that matter, that believes Clemson benefited from the officiating, is a moron. If the game had been called correctly, Clemson would have won by 14+. Louisville had at least 3 drives that were kept alive by BS holding calls against our defense on 3rd and long. All of those drives resulted in scores. They missed the blatant holding of the Louisville O line and their DB's all night long.

If it had been called correctly, Clemson would have won by 21+.....considering Jackson would have been ejected for kicking Boulware during his tirade, much like the ejection of the USC player vs Bama. If anything, they benefited HUGE with that staying as a non call.

able to see the ridiculous amount of holding on Louisville's offensive line and Louisville's defensive backs that were NOT called!

No wonder their fans are sore losers. Their freaking governor is not only a sore loser, but he chose to let the world know it with his whiney tweet!

"Gamecocks aren’t ready to take college football by storm just yet. They’re not even ready to compete in their own state – Clemson will still own the territory. Gamecocks fans would be smart to keep their heads buried until that time. Avoid talking trash to a much better Clemson program.” -Dustin Tackett

Much easier to see that on television.***

I was at the game and I have watched the recording of it.

There were several no calls that I saw as a spectator in the stadium that were not in any screenshots on TV.

It was very obvious on tv as well. Carlos and Scott were both held multiple times.

Complaining is one thing. Saying it is the reason we won is another.

I thought the officiating was fair. I saw a lot of no calls. Clemson won. L'ville had their chances and didn't get there. Agree, game over...move on.

Why do you care what UL fans think and why continue going over to their message boards? The game is over - we won and no amount of analysis is going to change that fact. Leave them be to live in their squalor of loser talk and falling short of victory. Instead get pumped for what promises to be a heck of a run for Clemson all the way to the ACC Championship game and beyond...

Almost every Louisville fan I encountered (IN PERSON) was very friendly and respectful. That goes for 2014 when they visited, 2015 when I made the road trip up there, and this year at the game as well. In Louisville I was graciously invited to many a tailgate and many a drink was shared. The majority of their fan base seems to go out of their way to be a class act and embrace the rivalry for good football.

Their message board members seem to lack that same class.

"There's something in these hills and I suspect that's what it is - the ability of an institution through the unending dedication and greatness of its people - its administration, its faculty, its staff, its students and alumni - to impart to all it touches a respect, an admiration, an affection that stands firm in disquieting times when things around it give impressions of coming unglued." - Joe Sherman '34

I too see BC through my windshield. I guess I have a little better vision as I see them very much like deer in my headlights.
