Nope

If you read Hood's article, Dabo wanted raises for his coaches. Regardless, a few million would not have kept Dabo at Clemson if he wanted the Bama job so the question is irrelevant.

He is #2 paid CFB coach with guarantee to be in top 3. Also his salary goes up every year of current contract. How much more should he make over $11mil in 2024.

from what I understand. Sexton is helping ensure Dabo gets a raise every season by negotiating better deals for his peers when these situations come about.
