I notice that a good number of people on Tnet are obsessed with points, TUs, and especially TDs. I honestly can't think of anything in my life that is less important than Tnet points or TDs. Am I missing something? Are points important? Can I use them like S&H Green Stamps to get a set of steak knives or a toaster over. Will they expedite my trip through Purgatory? And why do people lose their sh!t when they get a thumbs-down on a post or comment?
I realized that I have a different Tnet account on my phone than the one that I typically post and comment on, from my laptop. Should I be TU-ing my own posts and comments from my phone because those things are important?

Here, I'll clue you in:
Get enough points, get a kickaxe set of steak knives; handles triple riveted with serrated blades of tungsten steel. Get enough points for two sets, you get another set, but you gotta give the first one back, 'cause either you're too popular or someone else ain't, and folks what ain't deserve steak knives too.
So, it's a collectivist type deal, you see, like what probably fits your fancy.

Way I see it, in my universe of stuff I should give a #### about, Tigernet points are somewhere between Joe Biden's bowel movements, and the number of spiders in the trees behind my house. Several million things I care more about, personally.

I noticed that someone TD'd this thread. Should I rant about being TD'd and how the mods should not allow the gutless basterd to TD anonymously? Over the years, I have learned that I am supposed to be extremely angry about TD's, even if I am not sure why.
