Turning it on and Turning it off.

Sep 16, 2019, 1:14 PM

I know this will seem comical to some, but do you think on both sides of the ball our team has the ability to turn "it" on and turn "it" off. Just a for instance South Carolina game last year, we seemingly could not make a defensive stand (I understand we won by 21), but our secondary looked like swiss cheese. Do you think this was purposeful to bait (in last years case Notre Dame and Bammer) into testing our secondary.

Same for this year in TL's case (and I understand he broke his by yardage passing record against cuse) but his second interception was just bad, no other way around it.

So what say yee, is our team so talented that they can seemingly "cook the books" on film for each one of our opponents?

South Carolina last year was not turning “off” but rather was used to fake out ND and Bama that we had a secondary weakness that wasn’t really there. We were so far ahead, giving the loser coots a couple of meaningless touchdowns didn’t matter (although I do understand that they meant THE WORLD to them). And it led directly to two INTs from Tua.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
