Tucker Israel

Jan 5, 2015, 7:30 PM

Has anyone else noticed they dropped a star from Tucker. Fell from #12 to #20 dual threat, Grade 81 to 79. When did this happen? Even after the collapse of the SEC in the bowl games they continue to show their biased. All they wanted to talk about from the UA game was the commitment of Kendall Sheffield to Alabama. Nothing about how Christian Wilkins was dominating. Check out Tom Liganbill Superlatives from that game. Nothing about Wilkins. That's okay. I can't wait to see those mighty SEC teams get blasted by Wilkins, Huggins, Bryant, Johnson and Cerenka.

If he drops a star then ESecPN can move another team ahead

Jan 5, 2015, 8:21 PM

of Clemson, say another SEC team like UGA which is close to us and needed a
star or 2 to pass us in the recruit rankings. It is the last poll that ESecPN controls with out going out on a field and proving that their rankings are legit. It all is Bull crap any way I can watch players on
a field and see who is a player and who is not. When a DT blocks a PAT and
rumbles down the field and scores, he's a player. I do not need a bunch of
starched shirt has beens to tell me who is a good player. Tucker broke a TON
of records set by a future SEC god. Bryant is a year away, Tucker will be the back up
next year and may even push Deshaun a little which is good for everybody.
Bryant will end up being a great QB, he just needs some good reps.

I dont care if we are in the bottom 10 in recruiting classes

Jan 5, 2015, 8:36 PM

All I care about is how we play on the field. Those stars look fancy and they can be a good hint as to how the players MIGHT perform, but I have two names for you:

Mike Bellamy: consensus 5 star
Gaines Adams: 2 star/3 star depending on recruiting site

Which one would you rather have on the team?

I'll take Tucker Israel any day all day 1 star or 5 star, so long as he plays well and cares about the program.

It was probably from watching Cain in the UAAA

Jan 5, 2015, 8:24 PM

game. Maybe he jumped him? Seems we even too deep in dual-threat QB's. Glad Dabo and staff took care of backup QB necessities in less than a month! ;) DC threw for a TD, and had a long reception in that game. CJS said, "Cain in the wildcat is a thing of beauty." I think I trust his judgement so far. Having too many great athletes is a great problem to have! Certainly better than the alternative.
