well, I have some beaver traps to check on the property

and it's nice and quiet and maybe I'll take a fish stringer of beer up there too.

It was so eerily quiet last week that I pulled out my phone and it registered a sustained 27db. That's quiet AF. It's 40db in my office right now.... quiet, but it was 4.5 TIMES quieter in that stand last week. Not great for hunting.... but great for my peacefulness.

Mrs. Adidas wanted to doink last night, but junior decided to jump in bed with us and insist that we watch some old Wayams brother movie where one of them is like a midget?!?!. Movie wasn't terrible, but I didn't get any. I think he did that crap on purpose b/c Sarahadidas told the kids that we needed alone time and to GTFO. I'll keep that crap in mind when he wants alone time with his GF in a few years, or when I'm an old geriatric and living with him.

As far as an apple pie... we don't have one. We have some pound cake, though. Maybe I'll do that... go pound some cake (like I planned on doing last night).

Garage is a wreck.

If I was doing my normal "hunt behind the house", then I'd go along with you timeline, but I'm headed to the metropolis of Steedman, SC, which is about 20-30 minutes away from work and home. I'd rather just skip the trip home and go straight to the stand. With wifey working from home, she hates to see me with any "free time". She'll try to put me to work and I won't stand for it.
