I went to jail in Gwinnett one night back in 2001. Not too bad actually. Knowing I would get out at 6am with a $300 fine. Sausage and eggs weren't too bad.

got locked up in Muskogee Ga and Okaloosa County FLA myself. DUI, then possession of weed under thirty grams. 15 years ago, never been in trouble since.

Did 3 days 'hard time' in Myrtle Beach,SC in '74. Simple possession of less than an ounce of the weed with roots in hell.
Ran tin cup side to side on the bars complaining about the 'screws' and everything. No time for jailhouse tat tho...
Been a saint ever since.

I am being facetious. Those were issues that rallied Trump to victory. I really don't care about any of those issues. At this stage, I would be happy if Trump could tone it way way down, stop creating unneeded controversy daily, the economy holds together, and we avoid war.

Secondly, the Dems were poised to win after W. W's poll numbers were in the tank after Iraq. Finally, Sarah Palin was on the Repub ticket. The Dems could have run just about anyone and won immediately following W. You're kind out of touch with reality.

Just about anyone would have won after W and with Palin out there looking like a fool. That was Hillary's best chance, but Obama comes across more relatable to most in his public speaking. Hillary seems fake and canned. It would have worked immediately after W, but her chance was gone.

Anyway, I will try anyway. People have various reasons for complaining or supporting. We aren't all a monolith. There are so many issues out there. I think you are oversimplifying the public. My biggest worries are the economy and peace. Some people it may be their relationship with God, or how our society includes God. Others it could be race relations et cetera et cetera. My brother's number 1 issue is the environment. He doesn't care about a 401k and I think he gave up on getting laid. He has been married 25 years. We hve a diverse society. Your issues aren't necessarily the same as everyone else.
