Waffle house was going to put a restaurant on main street. The locals went into an uproar and got it cancelled because "Waffle House attracts a bad crowd". So, they did not build there.
The lesson:
When you think you're too good for Waffle House, you're wasting oxygen good people could be using.

Yea. Never knew you could make a reservation at Waffle House. Guess you have to be a celebrity. When my granddaughter was a baby (pre-Covid) we would go the the WH in Camden with my son and her and the way the staff there went crazy over the baby you would have thought she was a celebrity. Waffle House gift cards are highly requested and appreciated birthday and Christmas gifts in our family.

My Wife and her friends surprised us husbands on Valentines with a special Waffle House Valentines night. Same menu, only WH is all done up for Valentines and they serve their drinks in wine glasses.
*Only certain locations support it.
*Guys, don't surprise your wife with this, only works when it's their idea!

My wife (Clemson Grad too) surprised me with a Valentines trip to the indoor gun range.
Then we went to the BBQ place close by! Everything had that gunpowder smell.
Certainly different, and I survived......

Yes! My wife and my buddies wife did this with us. As you mentioned, it is only certain location and ours didn’t do it. However, we took a red table cloth got some flowers and did it ourselves! Ha ha! See pic lol

For those of us who live in areas devoid of Waffle Houses, all this talk is making me long for some delicious WH cuisine.
When I am back in Tiger Town, Waffle House is always on the menu. It's a key part of my families game day tradition.

According to the local sports tonight TL had the Texas Cheese Steak and a Pecan Waffle. Not sure how they found that out but it makes me hungry.
