also a former LB for the coots. As usual he had the same old excuses and the old what TIL next year. He said that the coots would eventually beat us. I told a blind chicken occasionally finds a worm too so yes the coots might beat us but not with Bentley as their QB.

It’s funny because late last year he was talking up JB as the best QB the coots have ever had. Tonight he throw him under the bus. He is another One that thinks OC Roper needs to go, and that Will Muschump has worked miracles with this years team by winning 8 games. He tried to go inside and terminate the conversation when I ask him who they had beaten. He just keep saying we are 8-3, we are 8-3. And I just laughed and told him Elite Teams like Clemson win 10 or more games and go to real bowl games.

Long winded post just to say “coots never change, it’s always wait til next year”??

Thanks for the heads up on losing 4 it just makes me feel that much better when I remind him of Gamecock history. If your fan base is jacked up about possibly winning 9 games for the 4th or 5th time in history that is really sad must suck to have medicore expectations. I could not be a gamecock fan for all the money in the world because I could not live with such low expectations in life. I believe the Gamecock fans have 3 categories: Wins, loses and MV’s aka moral victories. That in a coots mind makes them happy.

All my coot friend could talk about was how close most of their losses were. Remember those “Moral Victories”. He said we gave UGA a good game and gave Texas A&M a really close game. He even tried to convenience me they played a stronger schedule than we did.
I just had to laugh all the way back to my condo.
