The comments coming from every direction about this year’s team are bad. Unfortunately, the comments will get much worse in the coming weeks. Our D needs to completely ignore the comments. Our D is a wonderful group of outstanding young men and they deserve so much better than what is happening this season. I believe at least half, maybe more, of our starting D will play on Sundays. My heart goes out to our D. I know how hard they practice & have dedicated themselves to winning. They are winners! Ask any of them about the O’s struggles and they will not disparage their brothers. But they all know the O is awful. They completely destroy the O on a weekly basis at practice. That’s a fact! Anyway, I sincerely hope every player on our D keeps their head held high and perseveres. You guys are true Tigers and your futures are bright!

The players are fantastic, the coordinator is not. We aren’t a developmental program so we shouldn’t have a developmental coach as DC. The only ones we should be developing are players. Even great players need good coaches to further hone their skills and help them work as a single unit. The cracks are showing, tackling has been suspect, positioning getting sloppy, and play calling has been abhorrent in the late game. Let’s avoid the mistake we made with Streeter running the offense into the ground with the D while there’s still a chance for a course correction. Yeah our team is top 10 in YPG, but also terrible in PPG. And other than Miami we haven’t even played a team in top 20 of total offense

I’m pretty sure the O does that to themselves. The O is a bunch of spoiled brats. The D are men.
