To fire or not to fire

Look, I’m no Brad fan. He’s a nice dude. Same guy you see on TV.

We’re seeing (arguably) his best team at Clemson. We make free throws (yall remember when we sucked?), have a 3 shooter (sorta) and have two (or more) nasty big men. A little d-deficient but whatever.

It’s sad to say that I wouldn’t be shocked if we lost to Jefferson State Baptist in the first round or if we made it to the Sweet 16 and lost to a final 4 bound team.

For those reasons, we need to move on.

I don’t know who you call or who you go and get. But new blood is needed at this point in the game.

And let’s rebuild the #### stadium. Now that D-Rad’s cheeeeeepbootay is gone we should make $ moves.

Thoughts? I know you morons occasionally have them… if you can form a complete sentence ;) (that’s how we separate the Tigers from the coots).

Isn't just the thought that we could make the Sweet 16 enough to

keep Brad? Because you never know. We could beat anybody. And then you would have fired the guy that might have gotten us to a Final Four. Good goin' there, Ace.

Or we could lose to anybody, even the Jefferson State Baptist Buffaloes.

Isn't that suspense of not knowing very tantalizing?
You'd lose that if you got rid of Brad. So don't. Don't even think it.

Besides, if we get a new guy, AND rebuild the coliseum, when that guy has success we'd have to listen to JK, and all the JK scoks, all whine endlessly about how Brad would have done just as good, or probably better, if he had gotten a new arena. It's just not worth it.

You need to see the big picture and think longer term. Year 15 is nothing. Year 20 is when Brad will be hitting his prime. You can just feel it. Year 25? Hooooo-boy, watch out!

So when Brownell's teams finish one or two spots above the lower half in the conference (whatever it is then), lose a bunch of games they were favored in, faceplant in their first post-season game, etc. in 2037 we'll hear about "well, he earned at least another year, we bought all new instruments for the pep band and he should get the chance to see how that plays out".
