For the record, I've been pulling for CK2 to play all year - and not because he's the backup. And no plans to pull for the next backup to start.
As for Myles, good luck to him in the NFL!

What the game has become looks to be stealing some of this man’s joy. At the very end he discusses how the signing class looks good today but might not tomorrow and gives a vague reference to the Deion regime at Colorado and how things are getting crazy. Clearly some of our hay is being ogled by other farmers and I can guarantee you Deion is not the only poacher out there.

Well thats pretty naive of you. Guys like Murphy come here because they think it'll help them get drafted. Period. Most of the nonsense I read on here about these guys being "Clemson men" (whatever that means) is also nonsense. They are basically football mercenaries who, for the most part, don't give a crap about anything other than getting rich in the NFL. Clemson is just a means to an end.

I came to Clemson because I thought it would help me get a good paying job too. College is a means to an end for everyone. That doesn’t mean they aren’t proud alums, unless we have a lot of engineering mercenaries out there too. You can come to better your opportunity and still be a Clemson man in how you go about it.

I can't help but to wonder if the 2022 Coordinator Hires, and the entire season of the DJ saga with Dabo's determination of not playing Cade a single snap in the coot game and losing it, is it going to hurt the FB program. There isn't any doubt that the coaches we recruit against for the same player are going to be singing the same song that without Brent Venables and Tony Elliott that Dabo and Clemson best days have past us by. Am I the only one having those thoughts?

Not surprised Myles is opting out since he was taking plays off late in the season but good luck to him in the future.

I Wish MYLES had Listened more to TYLER DAVIS

It is what it is, but Myles is a great player, and I am certain a great Tiger Teammate. I just think he got to talking to too many people that caused this. I don’t think this is the REAL MYLES. Quitting on his teammates and not playing The Orange Bowl is a very bad decision for him, and I think he will regret it for the rest of his life. He’s now the 1st and only player to ever quit on Dabo and his teammates in a Bowl Game. Listen to TYLER DAVIS praise Myles as a teammate (“My guy, Spiderman”), but when asked did he think about not playing, “Oh no, I’m playing this game.” Why? “It just shows our commitment to each other, to finish you know. ...Just for the guys beside me, to finish up with them. To finish this thing off right.” https://youtu.be/BkKsAJPdMAo?t=43

I am grateful for this young man’s commitment. Wish Murphy had that, too. We’ll be just fine without him, but his balling out at the Orange Bowl probably would have helped him a lot, IMO. Him skipping it won’t.
