She's been recognized as a top 3 baller in the country. She is the Shohei Ohtani of College Softball, with her pitching and hitting skill sets, and these type of players come around less than once in a generation.

There’s many that believe she’s a clear front runner. Many also believe the other finalists are just there because they had to name 3. Valerie’s batting average is only 3 points behind Wallace from Florida and only 1 point behind Brady from UCLA. Valerie is only 1 HR behind Wallace and tied with Brady. The only real difference is Wallace has a lot more stolen bases and walks. 30 to Val’s 5 and walks 49 to Val’s 28. Neither of the other 2 pitch. Like the announcer said during the North Carolina game. Her top 3 were Valerie, Valerie, and Valerie.

The sooner, the better! She has had a HUGE impact on the Softball program. Her legacy and leadership will guide young women throughout southeast and nation for years to come while at the same time promote the Clemson Softball.
