Practically about every other ACC team would either killed them or play them very close as in buzzer beater game endings, BC isn't a very good team and that's why they are 12th in the ACC, we done what we were supposed to do to them, but we're only 7th in the ACC, but that's the way that it is when we lose 3 straight to Miami, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech. Those 3 straight losses is the reason we dropped from 16th to completely out of the rankings.
If Neff is serious about Clemson being a serious contender in the ACC, hopefully he already has some feelers out for a new basketball coach that can take talent like we have now and win all the games that we were supposed to win, and a couple that we probably wasn't... IMO, Brad Brownell has had more than a fair amount of time to turn Clemson basketball into a firm contender of the ACC...

I understand that. Dropping as much as we did will make it harder to get back in but if the team plays to their full potential they are a top 20 team and will see the rankings again.

I’ve read hundreds if not thousands of posts here criticizing Brownell for being a bad recruiter.
Now, all of a sudden, I see posts like yours saying we have top 15 talent. I saw a few posts here earlier this month saying that we have Final Four talent.
You guys need to get together and decide, because the variance on this one is significant.

We are at the same pace as we've been for the past 14 years. The only thing that has changed is LittleJohn has gotten a face lift, and Brad Brownell's face looks older and he has gotten a lot richer!!!

roster and the capabilities they showed early on in the season to attain such a high seed projection. I was hoping it wasn't just us Clemson fans that saw all of that potential, due to the inherent homerism that goes with assessing your own. From pollsters to bracket prognosticators - it was pretty much understood across the land that we had a high-level, championship-chasing roster.
Seeing us fall from those heights as we get into more competitive play is disappointing. Hopefully Brad can get the team back on the track that the rest of the country saw we're capable of.

JK's right, that's ridiculous.
Tommy Bowden had an overall winning percentage of .615 during his Clemson career. CBB has managed a scant .583.
Bowden had a .573 winning percentage in the ACC. CBB has a losing record in ACC play at 0.498.
Bowden's teams finished in the top 25 several seasons.
To be fair, neither Bowden nor Brownell won an ACC title, let alone sniffed any sort of national title.

Agreed! Any complaining should be made directly to the administration. We/they have allowed and rewarded these expectations. Is that fair?
