They probably blasted you because you were way off base in your allegation.
Please look at the scholarship spreadsheet. You will not see a “Pearman” listed.

In your life, you’ve gotta have players like this on your team! Have you ever heard of something called a “scout team”. Every team in America has one! And what do they get to do? They get to have their brains beat in every day by the first team defense to run the opposing teams plays. We, like every other team in America have kids like this who play 4-5 years and only get to play in a real game 4-5 plays. Why do they do it? So they can be a part of something bigger than themselves and maybe parlay their experience into a coaching jobs some day.

Why is it that we have more than our share of the Tiger faithful that is always eager to bring negative statements said in the past out of anger/disappoint or whatever the reason to the front on the days that our team has done a very good job. Why is it that some are happier when bringing up things from the past to interfere with us all being happy for our team all together as one fan base standing behind the same team!!!!

I have no idea regarding tuition for children of employees, but OP was alleging that scholarships were wasted on the coache’s kids.

That is one of the perks for a coach with college age kids, and a coach would be stupid not to accept such a gift/perk, and if a coach he or she was to decline the perk, I'm not so sure that he/she would be smart enough to be a coach for one of our collegiate sports...

Would someone please clear up the scholarship issue. Do coaches kids get an actual scholarship or free tuition due to their association.
