How many points you think we would be underdog to UConn or Purdue in basketball?
I'm thinking it would get pretty ugly with "coach" Brownell

The difference is that we don't have a similar history or comparable funding to Purdue or UConn in basketball like we do UGA in football.
We have no business being a 16.5 point underdog to Georgia in football. Something is wrong with that.
But since you asked, no I don't think we would be 16.5 point underdogs to Purdue or UConn in basketball if we played right now. It would probably be 6-8 points at most.

They're not showing our 2024 D any respect are they, they maybe the best team right from the start of the season, but I truly don't see them being a 16-17 point favorite.

The team that our coaches will put on the field in 2024 will be day and night difference where our offensive game will be concerned. We will have two freshman receivers that both will be getting playing time early with Wesco getting in the action probably a little before Moore, and that's bc Moore want be coming in until the fall. The TE Bentancur is probably one of the better TEs that we've brought in in a little while, and Briningstool will be a Junior with another years experience, and with Mahfa not having to share touches with Shipley, I think that what we seen last season from Mahfa was just a warmup to what we'll see from him this coming season as the #1 RB. And now with an O Line coach that comes in with years of experience and a NC O Line to his credit, our O Line play won't be as anorexic/poor as it's been for some time.
Anybody underestimating our offense this coming season will get a rude awakening IMP. Dabo didn't bring in one of the best O Line coaches just so he would have a reason to fire one of his X student players and friend, he brought him in and fired Austin bc it was necessary to get his team back to where it once was, and he saw our offensive line as being the weakest link in our offense. And with better O Line play, I think we will see a different Cade Klubnik behind center. With a better O Line, with a healthy receiving core with two 5 star WR recruits added, with one of the better TEs as we've brought in in a while, if Garrett Riley is the OC that was expected when he was hired, I'll say by no later than the FSU game, our offense should be smoking, IMHO... There has been a lot of pretty good/elite pieces added to the offense with coaches and recruits within the last two years, and 2024 should be a good year for our offense. And just by having a better offense will help our D to be even better than usual, also IMO!!!

Too early to even start with the big underdog crap. I mean even think about the odds until maybe the week before kickoff. No need in every one starting the hand wringing and worrying about a game that want be played until late Augudt
