Absolutely, and if we was to be completely honest with ourselves, just about every game that we've lost over the past 4 or 5 years, it has mostly been bc the O line couldn't give out QBs enough time, and they weren't opening up a big enough gap for our RBs to run through, and to get a step on the cluster jammed up in the running lanes....

The first game of the season will show if the offensive line has improved to play with the best for sure. Hers to looking forward if there will be fire in the belly. Go Tigers. Spot the dang ball.

I know it’s easy to get caught up in the oline hype but they talk a big game every offseason only to not live up to that hype during the season. I sure hope we’ve found our savior in Matt Luke! A consistently high performing offensive line would be a game changer for our offense! The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. High hopes!

Agreed. Talk is cheap. Hopefully, a fundamentally sound OLine leads to a lot more consistency from year to year.

But, you kind of have to take these kinds of comments with a grade of slaw. Probably every position player who gets a new coach feels renewed energy. It would be pretty doggone sad if they DIDN'T. Will mostly the same players produce significantly better results? The proof will be in Ye Olde Proverbial Pudding, starting with a beatdown of some Nasty Dawgs in the first game this coming season. You know Coach Luke will be up to play them, and you also know THEY will be up to play against his new guys in Orange.
