I know we’ll be getting crushed in the media but this is a great win. We dominated this game for most of the game, yet show ourselves in the foot time after time. The team never got down, instead they fought and fought and came out with the win!!! Not pretty at all but a great win. DJ might’ve been aided by better okay calling? Running the ball the amount we did has streeter never heard of play action? Our tes were under used and the qB runs just weren’t working. Running the ball the way we were why are we running a read option at the two or three yard line? Had DJ just handed the ball to Mafah the scoop and score doesn’t happen? Watching the game I felt Syracuse played dirty. Lots of nonsense after the play and got away with a PI in the first half and probably about seven holding calls. The no call on trot was the right call though that’s all we’re going to here about. Great win. Nine teams were undefeated and we found a way to stay that way.

Say what you will. Do what you do. We have been lucky enough to watch big Cinco for a while. Today, he was big Stinko. I'm sooooo thankful dabo changed it up, and went with Cade. Nuff said.

The best thing Klubnik did

was to attract marginal personal fouls. I think he's going to be really good, and he showed a lot of poise today, but it wasn't his play today that made the ultimate difference. (Great play on the 2-point conversion.) There's no doubt DJ was having a bad day. But I don't think Klubnik had been very impressive in his, admittedly few, opportunities prior to today. Going forward, I think DJ is still our best option (if today doesn't get into his head), but it's good to know he's got a capable backup.

DJ was not there today. Not sure what it was but it looked like 2021 all over again. Cade was not impressive but the QB change by Dabo won the game today. The defense was solid the second half but the refs also finally called a holding penalty. This was ugly but a great win. Syracuse is no joke of a team this year and we had to scrap and crawl for this win. So many Tiger teams prior to Dabo would have never won today. That is the change in culture at Clemson. Our guys always believe they can/will win. And most of the time they do. So proud of their fight and determination. Go tigers
Anyone want to bet we drop 2 spots in the polls this week

Dabo made the right call at the right time. If DJ stayed in the game we lose. Scherzer and DeGrom for the Mets are practically automatic wins but when they faltered, they were taken out. He was having a bad day and it was getting progressively worse as the game went on and we needed a spark on offense. Cade provided that and we won. The media is having a meltdown ESPN /ACC Network about it , so what , Dabo made the right move. GO TIGERS.
