I think he is much better than a #10 slot. I just wish they wouldn't show highlights of any Tiger in games where our opponent is Furman and Louisiana Tech. I feel we probably have a few young posters that are in decent shape, they probably could do close to the same against those types of teams.

And IMO, it says nothing for a guy like Shipley that's just running wild against a Furman/ Louisiana Tech like defense. There is no doubt in my mind that Shipley would have done well regardless of what conference he played in, but his praises mean less playing against average ACC teams that barely put anything into their FB programs, and then they will use highlights from games against Fuman and Louisiana Tech that makes his skills as a top RB mean less when showing him running all over Furman like teams, when there is film of him showing out against better teams with power 5 defenses.

Ship is a dependable back and will hopefully be better this year behind an improved O Line.

THE BEST MOTIVATIONAL MOVE the ACC could have taken..if putting Shipley 10th was the reason he was not chosen in the top
5. BUT we know how the ACC elites love to put down good ole Clemson every chance they get..that was the real reason. He WILL prove them all wrong. Mark my word!! Thank you ACC.
