I hope that you are right, but I'm not going to get my hopes up until I hear Neff say that Clemson will be leaving the ACC and moving to the SEC. I can say that has been a long time dream of Clemson becoming a SEC member bc I've always believed that our FB recruiting would be elevated as an SEC school bc I have seen Clemson lose out on a lot of top talent that loved everything about Clemson, but they had always been brainwashed that it was easier getting to the NFL from the SEC!!!!

Revenge game

I went to this past year's game in South Bend. That was the most miserable Clemson football game I have ever experienced.

Thought I was going to "mystical Notre Dame stadium".
Instead, I went to an extremely dumpy city WAY past its prime and a non-descript stadium.
Granted, the campus itself is amazing and the history speaks for itself.
But what a dump.
Oh, and the weather sucked too.
Oh, and our football stayed on the bus.
Hoping for some big revenge.

I’ve been up 3 times for games between 2005-2008 and thought the city was dumpy then.
That’s one reason college football Hall of Fame left south bend for Atlanta

It was a cold, miserable night. I will say that before the game, their fans were very hospitable. I heard a lot of “Welcome to ND”. Once we got into the stadium, I saw Tiger Bands location and thought “how crappy”. Once the game got rolling, it was obvious that the ND fans were having a great time with DJ. It was a miserable ride back too Chicago.

It was bad but the Orange Bowl against WV was the worst. Both drives home were quite a trip.

Notre Dame has to play OSU and the real USC before they come to Death Valley, may not be a battle of top ten teams like everyone thinks.
